This Thursday evening
The Altamont Theatre will host Americana musician
Robert Ellis for a night of good times and great music.
Courtney Hartman of Della Mae fame will also take part in the night's festivities and make sure that your heart and soul go home happy. The intimate atmosphere of the downtown venue, plus these two talented singer/songwriters makes this show a no-brainer.
Born in Houston, Texas, Robert Ellis started his career by playing shows anywhere he could around the city. When Ellis landed a weekly gig playing shows at Fitzgerald's, one of the city's oldest venues, he quickly grew a large following and caught the attention of a record label. The rest is history. His gripping approach to songwriting blends country, pop, and jazz for a truly wholesome aural experience.
It was only five months ago when Courtney Hartman released her debut solo recording titled
Nothing We Say. The release was her first venture outside of her astounding work with Grammy-nominated string band Della Mae. Originally from Colorado, Hartman now resides in Brooklyn, NY where she keeps crafting enlightening and authentic music experiences.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7. Tickets are $15 advance/$18 day of show.
